MUG COASTER

Materials
• Magazine
• White glue
• optional glue stick or glue gun if available

Instructions:
1. There would be a pair for this activity. Pairs are drawn on a wheel of names randomly.

2. Each pair would interview each other and ask about their most used mug, ask about
their personality or something about themselves to get to know each other better. This
orientation of general brief description of activity will be done in one google meet link
with all AM and PM groups included.

3. After pairing, the interview part between pair will be conducted in a separate google
meet link facilitated by one PM group member

4. After interviewing, they will make a newspaper coaster for each other using materials
and information gathered about the partner.

5. The design will be up to the idea formed through the interview. E.g. partner describes his
love for plants, the partner makes a plant themed coaster

Procedures in making coaster

• Roll a page of magazine and make it into a tube
• Glue each ends together using a white glue
• Using a magazine tube continuously roll it from the tip to create a circle puck
• And glue it together using a glue stick
• You can either paint it or admire the magazine patterns on your coaster

PRECAUTION
• HOT SURFACE OF THE GLUE GUN CAN INFLICT BURNS, MAKE SURE THAT THE
PATIENT’S SENSORY SYSTEM IS INTACT OR GIVE SUPERVISIONS AS NEEDED
