rules Valorant Tournament
Junior representatives served the audience a slugfest as Manalili and Paras
fueled the Manisontokan to clutch top seed in Valorant Tournament and crowned as
champion in the recently concluded College of Computer Studies Week on Friday,
October 21, 2022.
Manisontokan, composed of junior students James Darryl Palad (Ginsilog), Mark
Nathaniel (Nate), MJ Quiambao (Adobong betlog), Dancel Manalili (Kaedae), Harold
Florence Paras (Dce ziyi) and Duane Perez (DuanE) are behind the team’s success.
A sneaky ace pulled off by Paras to tie the match, 5-5, 18-minutes-in that keep
their high hopes alive however, Azirrizz of Quints took the driver’s seat and keep their
score up to 9 leaving Manisontokan 2 points behind but Paras and Quiambao teamed
up to snatch the leadership, 13-9.
Quints made a 4-1 run to avenge their first-round setback, but Manisontokan
managed to level 12-minutes-in, 4-4.
The Quints finally kneeled and received another heartbreaking loss to
Manisontokan despite their best effort at overtime and made it to a double digits mark,
13-12.
Manisontokan will receive P1,300 cash prize as a reward for being crowned as
Champion while Paras and Manalili claimed MVP title for being consistent in the game
while Quints, as a podium finish, will not go home empty handed as they will receive a
P1,000 cash prize.
