1.0 SCOPE

This Construction Standard discuss the preparation of System Point List (SPL) for for
verification for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System For
Transmission Substations with Substation Automation System (SAS) of National Grid,
Saudi Arabia .

2.0 ORGANIZATION
SPL is divided into the following five section

Alarms
Indications
Commands
Measurands
General Alarms

3.0 APPLICABLE STANDARD

The standard is prepared based on TES-P-107.02, Rev.0 “Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition System for Transmission Substations with Substation Automation System
(SAS).

4.0 ALARMS
Informations to be filled for alarms are given in Table 01-1. Informations such as Event
Text, LITRA received at CRCC, Address extra shall be filled based on TES-P-107.02,
Rev.0. Other information such as logical node etc., shall be filled up as required for the
project.

5.0 INDICATIONS
Information to be filled are given in Table 01-2 and it is generally similar to Alarm List.

6.0 COMMANDS
Informations to be filled are given in Table 01-3 and this is similar to alarm list.

7.0 MEASURANDS
Information to be filled are covered in Table 01-4 and this is similar to alarm list

8.0 GENERAL ALARMS

Informations to be filled are covered in Table 01-5 and this is similar to alarm list.
