I. The most obvious people affected by juvenile delinquency are the victims when they
perform crimes.
     A. Theft
     B. Vandalism
     C. Violence
     D. Drug Use
     E. Gang Involvement
 
II. The Juvenile who commits a crime also suffers effects that he/she is probably unable to
predict.
    A. He or she may lose his/her freedom while being incarcerated or placed on probation.
    B. The Juvenile may lose ground academically as well.
    C. Puts him/her in relationships with other delinquents, who may be more sophisticated or
influential.
    D. The delinquency may even have future consequences on the adolescent’s college and career
choices.
 
III. There is a correlation between juvenile delinquency and drug use, gang involvement,
alcohol abuse and sexual behavior.
     A. They may be acting out to protest perceived abuses that have been perpetrated against
them.
     B. They may believe that there is no future for them outside of a life of crime.
     C. They are maybe expressing anger and frustrations.
