1. Educational causes
Nowadays, media are replacing more and more parents and other
caretakers who should guide children and teach them moral values and correct
their bad Manners.
Children nowadays are taught by TVs rather than their parents and as a
result they think that everything on TV is acceptable and does not do any harm.
Undoubtedly, this leads to a (rampant) growing juvenile delinquency. Children
nowadays are spoilt by TVs and social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp and
others.
3. Social causes
We are living in a society where no one cares about what a child does
whether it is good or bad. Children grow without being taught morality and this
will surely impact their life anywhere including their life at school.
1. Growth of incivility
At this level, many factors show how speedily incivility is growing in schools.
First, school children no longer have respect for school regulations nor do they
have respect for their teachers. There are many factors that can explain this
incivility for example the unreasonable strikes and illegal claims. There are more
than 107 cases of unreasonable strikes registered in Burkina Faso and this led to
destructions of school material and other institutions.
2. Impacts on pupils’ studies.
3. Growth of insecurity
Most of drug addicts and gangs are assumed to be school dropouts. That's
to say that the violence that made them fail at school will later on impact their
way of living for ever no matter where they are.
1. Parent's role
In many problems that the society faces, sensitization has played a core
role. In this situation too, sensitization is unavoidable. Pupils have to be sensitized
about the negative impacts of violence at school and they have to be explained
how dangerous it is for not only their school life but also their life in general. This
might have an effect in reducing the growth of this phenomenon.
