in a real life situation.

LESSON PROCEDURES

I'll call the SS's attention by showing pictures about two famous people
Lead-in whose occupations can be told in different ways.

1. Complete the words, read, and spell them.

I'll show them an exercise with 6 occupations in which they have to


complete the words which only have some letters. They'll send their
answers by WAPP, read their answers, and correct any mistake if there
Presenting Target is any.
Language
2. Practicing meaning with definitions.

I'll read some definitions of occupations and they have to guess the
appropiate one.
1. Family/friends occupations.
Write the following prompts on a piece of paper, complete them with
your own ideas and share your answers with a partner.

Ex: My cousins “Mariangel and Marialexandra, they are doctors.
Two of my friends are teachers.

Then, I'll ask some SS to tell the class about their partners' answers.
Job Fair
What is a job fair? Discussing, showing a picture.

Context:
Pretend that you are a student, and you have finished high school, your
studies,
and your mom tells you “I want you to go to the JOB FAIR.

Imagine that you have already gone to the job fair, you’ve looked
Freer Practice around and when you get home you talk to your mom or dad about your
experience there.

It's optional if they want to use the following ideas:

-How was the job fair?

-What jobs did you see?

-Which jobs did you like?
