Title: SCHOOL - BASED INSET & WORKSHOP ON MAKING TABLE OF


SPECIFICATIONS USING BLOOMS TAXONOMY  TO DEVELOP HIGHER-ORDER
THOUGHT AND BUILDING UP FROM LOWER-LEVEL TO HIGHER LEVEL COGNITIVE
SKILLS, FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT, KRA OBJECTIVES IN THE PREPARATION OF
COT LESSON PLANS AND FOOD SAFETY IN SCHOOL .

Description:

This School-based training focuses on discussion about developing the


cognitive skills of pupils through Table of Specifications using the Bloom’s Taxonomy
Technical assistance to teachers in the preparation of lesson plan for in the
preparation of lesson plan for in the preparation of lesson plan for COT is deemed
necessary to ensure effective programs implementation and eventually achievement
of higher or better learning outcomes.
It will further improve teacher’s competencies in framing appropriate questions
to formative tests in preparation for quarterly assessment.
Food safety training and education  can help teachers and pupils contribute to
overall reduction in foodborne diseases outbreaks.

Objectives:
This training aims to:
1. Engage teacher to an open forum on developing the cognitive skills of pupils
to assess pupils learning outcomes.
2. Collaborate in the preparation of lesson plans for COT .
3. Prepare table of specifications for formative test and periodical tests by
using the Blooms Taxonomy .
4. Refresh teachers on food safety in school
