This is a lovely picture. Looking at the picture, I can see a road and a few children.
They are crossing the street, maybe they are going to school because they are wearing a
bag. In the background, the street is not quite crowed with people, traffic, and many
stores.

2. Tell me the last time you crossed the street

The last time I crossed the street was yesterday. Yesterday, I need to walk to school
because my bike did not work and I did not know why it happened. Therefore, I had to
pass through the road, luckily it was not crowded so I could pass easily.

3. Why are some people scared of crossing the street?

For me, I think that some people scared of crossing the street because they worry about
their safety. Roads are always crowded with transport so if you do not focus on walking
you will meet an accident.

Part 3:

1. Tell me what you see from two pictures

Both of these pictures make sense. The first picture, I see a disabled people playing
basketball. They look hard-working and enthusiastic. In the second picture, I see a
young man who is playing tennis. He really concentrates on his work. So, I can see the
similarity of these two pictures is a sport. However, in the first picture, who play sports
is the disable people while in the second picture, who is playing sport is the young man.

2. Which of these sports would you prefer to play?

Well, let me see. I must say that I prefer playing basketball because playing basketball
helps me to enhance my health and increase my height. Besides, it is a team sports so I
can play it with my friends. It has a lot of fun.

3. Do you think that playing sports is not limited to all different kinds of people?
Yes, of course. I strongly believe that playing sports is not limited to anyone. Everyone
can play sports, from the elderly to the young, even, the disable. This is because
everyone has the right to play sports to enhance their health. For example, the
government makes great effort to help the disable practice sports and even, hold some
competition.

Part 4:
1. Tell me a time you went to visit amusement parks
2. How did you feel?
3. Do people in your country often visit amusement parks?

For a long time, I have not been to a park or amusement park but my visit to a
renowned amusement park in our city last year was so pleasant that I look forward to
revisit there. The amusement park I am talking about is nearly 40 kilometers away from
the city where I live in and is a large one. It is beside the city resort and occupies around
12 acres area.

I went there with my parents, 4-5 cousins and 2 nephews. This was a family trip and we
planned to take the children to a place where they would be able to enjoy. Since the
busy school schedules often bore the children, we planned to take them somewhere and
let them enjoy their time. As part of the plan, we left home early in the morning and
spent almost the entire day there.

Yes, people in my country often visit amusement parks, especially on the weekend
because they want to relax and refresh their mind. Besides, they want to pick their
children out so amusement parks are a good choice.

1. Describe the picture

This is a very meaningful picture. Looking at this picture I see two people, a mother and
a child. The child is lying on top of the mother. The mother looks at her child lovingly.
They look so happy. About the scene I guess they’re in the park.

2. Tell me the time you sat and talked with your mother
The last time I sat and talked with my mom was yesterday. On that day, I came back to
my hometown after a week I went on a business. I spent the whole night talking with
my mom. I shared a lot of things, my work, places I went and so on.

3. Is your mother important to you?

Well, I will answer without any hesitation. My mother is the most important person to
me. She is the one raised and taught me, who guides me to be a decent people. She
always supports me in good times and bad times, and give me valuable lessons. Without
her, I can be nothing.

Part 3:

1. Tell me what you see from two pictures

Looking at the first picture, I can see maybe two children. They are playing marbles on
the ground, that is a traditional game in Vietnam. Moving to the second one, there are
maybe two young man. They are playing video games. The similarly between two
pictures is about the relaxing activity. The difference is that one game is a traditional
game while the other is a modern game.

2. Which one do you prefer?

Actually, I like both of them: playing traditional games and video games because both
of them can help me relax and reduce stress after tiring hours of working and studying.

3. Do you think games have changed a lot in the past 50 years?

As can be seen, in the past, 50 years ago, children did not have any smartphones or the
Internet so they tended to go and played outdoor activities, playing hide-and-seek,
playing football, for example. However, at present, with the advance in technology,
children have many choices for their games. They tend to stay at home and play
computer games or use phones instead of going out.

1. Tell me about a time you learned something new
2. What was the most difficult thing for you?
3. Is it never late to learn new things?

I have learning English for 4 months to prepare the Aptis test. At first, it is really
difficult to learn however I found a course on the Internet and then I took part in that
course. After while I followed the method and materials of the course step by step, I am
confident about speaking in English.

I think the most difficult thing is having a plan on how to learn. For example, when we
talk about language, first you should focus your first words and small sentences on the
people you plan to talk to. Do not get stressed and do not forget learning something
does not need to be boring as hell sitting in a room, it can be so much more. Simply
listening to music will make you reduce stress and learn more effectively.

I strongly believe that it is never late to learn new knowledge because learning is the
lifetime process. No one can confirm that they have all knowledge as knowledge is
unlimited. We need to learn and learn forever. We learn now, learn in the future.
Therefore, it is never late to learn.

Part 2:

1. Describe the picture

Looking at the picture, I can see three people, two men and a woman. The woman is an
interviewer, a man holding the camera maybe a cameraman and another man wearing
suits maybe a businessman. I think they are having a interview. They look so
professional.

2. Do you prefer reading newspapers or watching news?

When it comes to my preference between reading newspaper and watching news,
obviously, I prefer watching news as watching news is so faster and I can get the
important points. Besides, watching news might be more interesting thanks to sound
and visual effects.

3. Why do people need to watch news?

There are many reasons why people need to watch news. The fires important reason is
that watching news can help them update recent news in the country and all the world.
So you know bad news like pandemic, crisis and so on to prevent and avoid.

Part 3:

1. Tell me what you see you from two pictures

Looking at first picture, I can see two children: a boy and a girl. They are finding books
at the library. They seem very attentive. Looking at the second one, there is a girl. She
is writing something on paper and looking at the laptop. I guess she is reading materials
on laptop and taking note. Therefore, the difference between two pictures is that one
pictures is the traditional way of reading while the other is the modern way of reading.

2. Do you prefer reading printed books or e-books?

I prefer reading e-books as it is convenient. E-books are portable so I can bring them to
every place without being afraid of the heavy, but we cannot deny the benefits of
printed books.

3. Does technology affect the way we read books?

Yes, of course. The advance of technology is sharply changing our reading habit. In the
past, people read printed books to gain knowledge or find material. They bought them
the store or borrowed book from the library. However, now, with the support of
technology, people can read books on their laptop or phone. Many books are available

on the Internet without charging fees, which allows people to read free books.

3. Modern life makes us busier and more rushed? what do you think?

Well, I’d like to tell you about the time I was in a hurry. It was just yesterday. I worked
at company from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Then I came home, cooked rice and had a dinner at
6:30 PM. But I needed to come to my student’s house at 7 PM to teach her some
subjects for 9th grade. So, I just had 30 minutes for eating and moving.

I ate and tried on time. At that time, I was so stressed, even I forgot something that
needed to bring like books. I wished I had more times to do everything carefully and
perfectly. Even though I tried faster, I still was late 10 minutes. This was not good and I
had to sorry my student.

Therefore, I believe that modern life makes us more rushed because we have more work
that need to be done.

Looking at the picture, I can see a girl and a man,
maybe her father. They are wearing casual clothes.
I see they is in the supermarket and choosing items
to put in the trolley. They look relaxed and
attentive.

2. Tell me the time you went to the supermarket

The last time I went to the supermarket was last week. On that day, I went to Big C
supermarket to buy food for my meals. I spent two hours there to buy items that I needed.
Because it was so crowded, I waited a long time for my turn to pay the bill.

3. Do you often and go shopping in the supermarket?

Yes, of course, I often go to the supermarket. This is because there is a supermarket near my
house. So, I do not need to travel a long distance to go to the market.

Looking at the first picture, I can see a man. He is eating alone at home. He looks quite
bored. Looking at the second one, there are many people. They are eating fast food and
drinking coke. The similarity between the two pictures is the topic of eating. The difference
is that one picture is eating at home while the other is eating out.

2. Do you prefer eating at home or eating out?

I prefer eating at home with my family because eating home-made food are always better
and safer than eating fast food. Besides, I feel comfortable when eating at home

I can see that nowadays, people, especially the young, tend to eat fast food like pizza,
sausage and so on for their meal. There are many reasons why they like eating such
unhealthy food. The first one is that eating fast food is convenient and saves time. They do
not need to spend time buying ingredients and cooking, just going to the shop and buying
fast food.

3. Do people in your country often play dangerous sports?

Oh, no, though my life is quite a bit boring. I always worry about my safety. I'm too scared
to do any extreme sports because I don't think I have enough guts to put myself in these
difficult situations. That's why I have never tried any dangerous sports.

However, I think that in my country, there are many people who like to take part in
dangerous sports. This is because it is a way to get some excitement into their lives. When
people thousands of years in the past lived in nature, they often faced dangers like wild
animal attacks, but now many people just spend their lives sitting in an office. By
participating in extreme sports, people can feel alive and get a rush that they can't experience
in normal everyday modem life.

This is an interesting picture, let me describe it.
Looking at the picture, I can see 4 people. I guess
they are a family, the parents are 35 years old and
their 2 children are 10 and put on casual clothes.
They are sitting in the car. They are having fun
talking to each other. So, I guess they are having a
trip. In the background the picture is taken in the car. I like the picture because it reminds
me of my family.

2. Tell me the last time you traveled by car

This is an interesting question, let me tell you about the last time I traveled in a car. As I
can remember, last night, I went to Hanoi by car with my friends. I traveled from Hung
Yen to Ha Noi by car to take the Aptis exam. I felt tired because I got carsick.

3. Why do people need to learn how to ride?

Let me see. When it comes to the question "....", I must say that people need to learn how
to drive because if we know how to drive, we do not need to rent a car for a long trip,
which saves money. For example, in the past, I spent a lot of money renting a car and a
driver for long trips. But, now, I can drive a car and no longer rent a driver. It is so
convenient.

This is an interesting question, let me describe it. In the first picture, I can see a man, he is
about 25 years old. He is lying on the sofa and listening to music. He looks relaxed.
Looking at the second picture, I can see many people. There is a girl singing, and others are
playing musical instruments. I guess it is a music concert. I love two pictures.

2. How are the experiences different in these two situations?

I'm sure that the experience of music in these situations is obviously different. In picture 1,
when listening to music alone, you can choose whatever music genres that you like. In
contrast, in picture 2, the band has to choose the most suitable music genres for all
members so they can easily show off their musical talents in the performance.

3. Why do you think people listen to music?

There are several reasons to answer why people listen to music. Firstly, some research has
shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, and blood pressure as well as improve
sleep quality. Secondly, it is also a good way to increase your attention span when studying

I’m going to talk about the time I read an interesting book. As I can remember, last week,
my friend and I read a book at her house. The book is called Harry Potter. The book is so
interesting and attractive, so I spent all day reading it.

I found that book exciting. It is a worthy-reading book. Therefore, everyone should read it as
least one time.

There are many benefits of reading books. Firstly, reading books can help people gain
knowledge about different aspects. Besides, reading is also a good way to relax and refresh

Looking at the picture, I can see two people: a

These two pictures are beautiful, let me describe them. They show me riding an animal.
Firstly, look at the picture on the left, I can see a woman riding a camel in the desert in
the midday sun. Moving to the picture on the right, there is a girl riding a horse in the
meadow. In terms of the difference between the two pictures, the weather is sunny in the
1st picture while it's windy in the 2nd picture. I prefer the 2nd picture because I like the
cool weather.

2. Have you ever ridden a camel or a horse before?

Actually, I have never experienced riding animals before as it is not popular in my area.
However, it is quite interesting. Maybe, in the future, if I have a chance, I will give it a
try.

3. Is riding animals popular in your country?

Absolutely no. As I said before, commuting by animals is not popular in my country. In
the past, perhaps, it used to be popular because we used to ride cows or horses. But now,
it loses its popularity. Instead, we usually used advanced transports like bikes, motorbikes
to commute.

3. Do people need to have other people?

Well, we all need help at some point in time in our lives. I also received a lot of help and
helped others too. When we help others, it makes us happy and polite, and also shows our
behavior towards others. Today, I was asked to talk about a time when I helped someone
else. I remember an incident when I was in 10th standard. I helped my needy friend who was
my class fellow. His name was Avnet Singh and belonged to a poor family. He didn't have
enough money to buy books. And I used to receive a hundred rupees per month pocket
money in those days. Usually, I spend that money on chocolates and I love chocolates. I
decided to help him by giving all my pocket money to him. So, he was able to buy books.

I remember his face and how he became happy. Then, he bought books. Since then, we have
been best friends. To be honest, I felt happy at that moment. That feeling was extremely
different than I never felt before.

Therefore, I strongly believe that people should help other people because helping is a good
thing to bring happiness to not only people helped but also the helper.

As can be seen from the picture, there are three
people and all of them are middle-age. They are
sitting in a bus because I can see bus windows,
seats, and so on. When I see the picture, it
reminds me of my studying time because I see
the woman sitting in front of is reading
documents. I used to travel by bus to my school.

2. The last time you travel by bus

I would like to talk about the last time I traveled by bus. It was last week, I had to
commute buy bus to my workplace because my motorbike did not work. It took me
almost one hour to get the destination because of traffic jam. It was so terrible because the
bus was so crowded and I had to stand for one hour.

3. What are some useful ways for people to avoid boredom when traveling by bus?
There are many ways for people to avoid boredom when traveling by bus. The first
common way is using smartphones to search news or watch Youtube. It is a useful way to
kill the time. Besides, we can see the sights through windows if the bus is not crowded.

In the first picture, I can see two people, maybe a mother and her kid. They are in the
museum. They look happy when seeing artifacts and the mother is talking something to
her son. In the second picture, there is a boy. He is playing swing alone. The main
different thing between two pictures is indoor activities and outdoor activities.

2. Which activity do you prefer?

I like both of them because each of them has its own benefits for me. Visiting museum
will help me gain knowledge while playing outdoor activities helps me enhance my
health.

3. Why is it important for children to take part in different activities?

It is important for children to do different activities, both outside and inside because
children need to develop different skills to support their life in the future.

Firstly, I would like to tell you about a time I used the Internet. As I can remember, it was
yesterday. On that day, I had an assignment to write a report about the method of learning
English successfully. Therefore, I opened my laptop to access some websites on the Internet
because I needed to find some news, real evidence and data to support my study. It took a
long time to find reliable sources, but finally I could find it.

I can say that Internet plays an important role in my life as it can support me in many
aspects. For example, I use the Internet to keep in touch with my relatives and friends. I use
it for my job and I also use it to read local and national news headlines, to watch my favorite
TV shows are worth watching tonight or tomorrow.

The third question. I think people over use the Internet. There has been a recent trend of
Internet. I surely think that since the past decade the use of the Internet has surely risen in
my country. You can now see even the elderly people learning how to use it and chat with
their kids online. Apart from it, the Internet is surely very famous among the younger
generation, who is ever so active to use it for either education or fun.
