PLAN FOR CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC

This site traffic plan outlines the procedures for the management of traffic within the construction site. The plan
includes information about the types of vehicles that will be allowed on site, the speed limit, designated parking
areas, and the flow of traffic.

1. Traffic Control Measures: Traffic control measures, such as traffic signs, barriers, and traffic cones, will
be implemented to manage traffic flow and improve safety on the construction site.

2. Types of Vehicles: Our company will ensure that only the vehicles necessary for the current
construction phase are on site, these may include excavators, front-end loaders, fork lifts, skid steer
and dump trucks.

3. Speed Limit: All vehicles on site will follow prescribed speed limits as indicated by management or the
site engineer.

4. Designated Parking: Vehicles that are utilized for the construction phase will be assigned specific
parking areas when there is a downtime. All other personal or company vehicles that are used for
transporting people will be assigned specific parking areas close to the construction site but away from
any construction activity.

5. Vehicle and Equipment Safety: All vehicles and equipment used on the construction site will be in good
working condition and will be properly maintained to reduce the risk of accidents.

6. Pedestrian Safety: Measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of pedestrians on the
construction site, these include designated walkways and barriers to separate pedestrians from vehicle
traffic.

7. Communication: Clear communication will be provided to all employees and visitors on the construction
site about the site traffic plan, traffic control measures, and safety procedures.

8. Training: Training will be provided to all employees on the construction site on safe driving practices,
traffic control measures, and pedestrian safety.

9. Emergency Procedures: An emergency procedure will be issued for incidents such as accidents,
breakdowns, or other incidents that could affect the flow of traffic on the construction site.

10. Regular Review: Review of this the site traffic plan and all traffic control measures will be done to
identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure that they remain up-to-date and effective.

11. Sustainability: Our company will encourage the use of sustainable transportation practices, such as
carpooling or the use of alternative transportation modes, to reduce the number of vehicles on the
construction site and minimize traffic congestion.
