A5. Please provide the required vertical and horizonal fire separation between the dwelling units and provide
details and specification for the required separation.

AC2. Please check and ensure that all accessibility design features, fully comply with the most recent
requirements of chapter 11B of the 2022 CBC.
AC3. Please check required visual and hearing-impaired fire alarm requirements, for a percentage of the
accessible units, as required by chapter 11B of the CBC.
AC4. Under the R1 occupancy which is a hotel or rentals less than 30 days, all applicable requirements of chapter
11B are enforces. If the project is designed for a possible R2 occupancy, like monthly rental units, then,
based on the date, of when the existing building was constructed, certain applicable requirements from
chapter 11A, pertaining to covered units and adaptability may be applicable to the project. This will affect
the ground units only. Please check when the original building was constructed and comply with any
additional accessibility requirements, as listed in chapter 11A of the CBC.
M1. Prepare mechanical drawings clearly showing new scope of work with highlighted lines. Drawings should be
clear and legible.
M3. Each sheet of the construction documents must bear a stamp, wet signature, registration number and
expiration date of the Responsible Party. The Responsible Party is the Registered Mechanical Engineer,
Licensed Architect, or Licensed Mechanical Contractor (C-20).
M4. Show location of all HVAC equipment with all ducting system.
M5. Show details of how OSA is provided. Show requirements of indoor air quality and how it is provided.
P1. Prepare Plumbing drawings clearly showing new scope of work with highlighted lines. Drawings should be
clear and legible.
P3. Each sheet of the construction documents must bear a stamp, wet signature, registration number and
expiration date of the Responsible Party. The Responsible Party is the Registered Mechanical Engineer,
Licensed Architect, or Licensed Plumbing Contractor (C-36).
P4. Show all new piping such as CW, HW, gas, sewer, and vents and connection to existing system.
E1. Electrical design drawings shall be prepared by professional individuals, signed, and stamped by registered
electrical engineer, licensed installing electrical contractor, or licensed architect.
E3. Show single line diagram, existing or new. Show all load calculations.
E5. Specify all light fixtures, wiring, and other electrical equipment.
E6. Show location of all HVCA equipment with required wiring and circuiting.
E7. Unit’s equipment such as range, dryer, and other existed equipment should be shown, and wiring and
circuiting shall be shown.
E8. Provide the required smoke detectors within sleeping area and corridors. CO detector is not SD. CO is not
required in sleeping area. SD and CO are required to be interlocked.
E11. Check notes #2, and #16 on sheet E101 for accuracy.
E12. Show details for shut off all non-essential systems when the unit is vacated.
E13. Provide complete electrical design package prepared by professionals for plan check.

EM4. Page 6/8 of NRCC-PLB-E, clarify why items 02 thru 05 is checked no.
EC1. Please ensure to capture on show on plans the required R value for exterior walls and roof, and the U and
SHGC for the windows.
CG1. In addition to the provided green building code standards, please show on the plans, any required special
features, like bike rack, low emission parking, or any other applicable design features, based on the scope of
work.
S1. Please provide complete structural construction documents, including structural plans and calculations,
addressing all the building modifications and the removal of some possible bearing or lateral resisting
elements, which will need to be addressed during construction.
S2. A complete structural plan review will be performed after item S1 information is provided.
