You Will be My Witnesses

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in
Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth” (Acts
1:8).

Questions:

1. Despite the fact that the sufferings and death of


the Messiah was prophesied in the Old Testament,
why did the disciples find it hard to believe that
Jesus must suffer and die?
a)… because they had not studied the Old
Testament.

patriarchs and prophets.

Messiah would come as a political deliverer.
