Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an art, which is inculcate in Entrepreneur for doing business. In general,


all business have to earn profit. Person who start business takes a risk and get return in form
of gain. Human is part of society and it is a duty of each of us to serve the society, by keeping
this responsibly, concept of social entrepreneurship is developed. According to the Impact
Investors Council (IIC), around 600 affect enterprises in India now affects 500 million lives,
attracting over USD 9 billion in capital. One of the most advanced social entrepreneurship
ecosystems in the world, India offers several opportunities to collaborate with local partners,
learn, and explore creative solutions to one of India's social concerns in the fields of
education, healthcare, and other sectors. healthcare manufacturing, renewable energy,
agriculture, and skill development (Social Entrepreneurship in India, 2015). In this paper, as a
researcher, will study about social entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurs in India. The
research is on sustainable development in context of social entrepreneurship. Research is
qualitative in nature, for sample study, five top most social entrepreneurs are considered. The
research type case study based.
