  • Formal Address to Students: A formal address to students highlighting the challenges and achievements during the academic year and extending congratulations on their success.

Good ______ Ladies and Gentlemen,

Before we close today’s ceremony, I would like to take this opportunity to say, on behalf of the
faculty, staff, and administration of Aranguren Integrated School High School Department,
congratulations to the completers, family, and friends who are present in today’s special event.

To our Grade 10 completers, learning and thriving through this pandemic was never easy. All the
trials, efforts, stress, grades, and experience of online classes, all come together today in this
ceremony. Remember that there will always be trouble along the way and consider COVID-19 as one
of them. But with all that has been said, let us believe that there is still something for us to be
thankful for. We get to be with our families, we get to ride our bikes, bake our cravings, and we
have seen how the world has changed.

Furthermore, I would like to commend you for the hard work you put in reaching what you have
achieved today. This is just the beginning and your gateway to a higher level of learning. As you
move to Senior High School, your new journey will begin, to understand your craft, master it, and
create better opportunities. At the same time, you will need to learn how to face real-life situations
and how to deal with them. When life seems too much to handle, I encourage you to find that one
little thing that allows you to unwind, breathe, and refocus.

We, your teachers, believe that each one of you will make a difference in the future, and you will do
great things in life. We will be here, cheering you along the way, and we will always be grateful for
every success and failure that you have shared with us here at AIS.

Finally, I applaud the faculty and staff for all the great work you did for our students. You remain
deeply committed and dedicated to your job amidst the pandemic. I would like to appreciate all your
efforts, support, and extraordinary resilience until we achieve success. This is a cliché phrase to end
my closing remarks, but as the United Nations Secretary said, we are all in this together, and we will
get through this together.

As the end of the Academic Year 2020-2021, once again, good day and Congratulations!
