Introduction/Attention Getter
How will you put your education to use?  What will your gifts to the world be? Will you be a
mentor to others? A philanthropist? A lover of libraries … passionate about music and the arts?
A supporter of the environment? A dedicated ambassador? A teacher? Perhaps an engineer?
Any one of these could be a great legacy. Any of these could be your path in the future . And
any of these could be your lifelong journey. What you need to master and enhance is your
passion. You have to work with your passion, decide what do you want to do that are close to
your heart. Remember, success is not something you have, it’s something you do if you love
what you are doing you will be successful.
Our dear graduates, you should have realized, how in your six years stay in the fold of your
beloved alma mater, you have persistently studied hard to be vested with the knowledge, skills
and values you will need for life. You have facilitated your learning experiences, striving hard to
make everyone of you functionally literate, a creative and critical thinker, an independent
problem solver and a work oriented lifelong learner.
Commendations, Praise, and Expression of Gratitude
To all the graduates present here today in this momentous event, I commend you for the hard
work, sacrifices, hardships and the efforts you put in reaching what you have achieved today.
Graduates! It is clearly seen your outstanding achievements and it’s well deserved pride.
Though that’s not merely the end of awarding of certificates, diplomas and medals and be
followed by hanging in your wall just for many people to admire it. So exactly what today’s
celebration means is not a highlight of great applause for such token received. But, rather
accentuating the individuality on how far you set your limits. As we witnessed your defying
fruitful journey come to an end this day, another door awaits you with lots of opportunities,
chances, challenges and pursuits. There comes a time that you will apply all the knowledge and
wisdom you gained. And that time is NOW, as you leave the gates of your alma mater kindly
embody the ideals that you implanted and possess the visions of holding the light of future and
show the world your individuality with gratification. Follow your instincts and curiosity wherever
they lead, and broaden your knowledge by reading as much as you can. Embrace opportunities
to collaborate. It’s the key to our success as a society, and it helps us grow as individuals. Be
bold and take risks, and don’t let the fear of failure stop you. Failure is a part of life. It’s another
way to learn. Change is a part of life, too. At times it’s frightening, but we should see it as a
chance to explore, and to test our limits.
Kindly acknowledge also those people who have been vital to where you are today. Your ever
supportive parents, your ever dynamic teachers, the administrators who had been guiding and
facilitating the school, your friends, classmates whom you create with unforgettable and
memorable memories, the grace of the lord and of course YOURSELF, thank yourself for your
strong determination and perseverance that no matter how tired you are you still choose to
continue and pursue your dreams in life.
