TikTok Retargeting Strategy

Setup

1) Create a separate campaign just for retargeting. You can either create a custom page that
has a discount code added or a bundle app that allows people to buy 2 and get 1 free, etc.

2) $50 ABO + Value Optimization Goal (You can split test with Lowest Cost) + ACO enabled.
Preferably comments enabled but make sure you've added blacklisted words or monitor
comments section.

3) Include these audiences:

• 100% Video View


• 75% Video View
• 50% Video View
• Page Visit
• Engagement
• 6 Second Video View
• Initiate Checkout
• Add to Cart

Exclude: Purchase

4) Stack your best performing UGCs (3-5). Ideally if they are ''product review'' type. But any
winning video will work.
5) For ad copy you can use something like:

• Buy 2 Get 1 FREE - Limited Time


• Get FREE X with your order
• 50% OFF SALE IS LIVE!

6) To increase your CVR even more you can add a 24h countdown timer under
Interactive add-ons.
7) You can play around with the countdown deadline, but usually I
put it for 24H. For sticker title you can use:

• 50% SALE IS LIVE!


• BOGO Sale Ending Today!
• BUY 2 GET 1 FREE
• LIMITED TIME OFFER

Make sure you edit your countdown deadline timer every day.

8) T scale retargeting, you need to be spending a decent amount


on cold traffic. But if $50 is working then go ahead and increase
the budget by $50 - $100.
