 Preparation in course related matters

1. Is diversity a problem or an opportunity for students learning? Yes/No, Why?
Answer
 Yes: - b/c diversity is a good thing, it is a source of strength, different experience and
talents can share divers ideas are able to make better knowledge. Can take in a new
culture, improve their language skills, make lifelong friends from different back
ground etc.
2. In your opinion, how fairly do teachers in your university treat students with diverse
background?
Answer
 By accepting the differences b/n students multiculturalism, treated fairly and equally, no
matter their race, gender, age, disability, religion or sexual orientation. So diversity is
about recognizing and respecting these differences to create an all-inclusive atmosphere.
This can be established by:
 By setting clear rules in regarding to how student should be treated
 Challenging any negative attitude
 Treating all students fairly and equally
 Using resource with multi -cultural themes
 Actively promoting multi- culturalism in lesson

1. You most probably had the experience of teaching students with different attributes
(linguistic, socio-economic, etc.). How well did you manage the task? If you faced problems
in this regard, how did you resolve them?

 It can be address through understanding the different back ground of the student in
the class

Answer
 This question says in group, but as an individual I have try to give some ideas, in order
to addressed the issue of diversity and equity in my department, I have tried to see all
students like my parents and also by setting the rules.
