ETHICAL AND UNETHICAL SCENARIOS
Ethics studies the rightness or wrongness of human actions based on the rules you abide in
your community.

Ethical Scenario
Equality of Respect and Opportunity
Equality of respect and opportunity is one of the
most important ethical practices that must be done
in every country. It is an act of kindness and open-
mindedness that simply understands that the
worth of a person must not be based on his skin
color or race. Everyone has the right to learn and
study regardless of their skin color. It is an example
of ethical practice as the law against discrimination
is present in every country.

Unethical Scenario
Gossiping
Unethical scenarios are not only seen in school or
community, but it is also mostly seen in the
workplace. As what I’ve said earlier, ethics is define
as doing something by abiding the rules of the
community or workplace a person included. In this
scenario, gossiping is an act of unethical practice in
the workplace as it can ruin the image of the
workplace and it is unprofessional.
MORAL AND IMMORAL SCENARIOS
Just like ethics, morality discusses about what is wrong and what is right. However, they are
different. Morality focuses more on the personal definition of wrongness and rightness with the
influence of the society, but it is still more independent. It is usually dependent on the religious
practices that a person lives with.

Moral Scenario
Helping people in need
Morality discusses about doing good things voluntarily
that is based on our own idea of what is good and bad.
Helping people in need is an example of moral actions
as it is an act of doing something for others without
them asking. It is just pure and genuine action coming
from a human which he/she knows is right.

Immoral Scenario
Taking advantage of others
Immoral actions are mostly done by hurting other
people for the benefit of their own. Having this said,
taking advantage of others is an example of immoral
action as it lacks empathy and understanding to one
another. It is being selfish in a way that it hurts other
people’s feelings.
LEGAL AND ILLEGAL SCENARIOS
Legal and illegal are mostly abided by the law. Law is the rules regulated in a community or
country and its members are expected to follow these rules as there are penalties if the law is
disobeyed in any form.

Legal Scenario
Freedom of Speech
Everyone has the right to speak their mind and it is the
government’s responsibility to hear and listen to the
voice of the people as people are the one who make up
the society that the government serves.

Illegal Scenario
Illegal Logging
Illegal logging occurs when people cut down trees in a
protected area and process it into products without
getting authorization from the government.
