What is Culture and why study Peoples
and Culture in Sociology?
Olayinka Akanle (PhD)
Abstract:

Understanding Peoples and Culture is a major issue in Sociology. To understand people,

understanding their culture is key. It is against this background that sociologists pay very close
attention to the relationships of people within their cultural existences. This video adopts very
academic, professional and practical approaches to build capacities of students, professionals and
everyone interested in understanding societies, people and human behaviour for order and
sustainable development.
