Discipline is a developed skill. I was never disciplined
in any area. I first practiced discipline in my daily routine. Then I hated that I wasn’t disciplined in my trading, so I focused on that. Then I hated that I wasn’t disciplined in my workout regimen, so I focused on that. Then I hated that I wasn’t disciplined in my diet, so I focused on that.
Real discipline means you begin to develop in all
areas of life. Maybe this is a dig at some people but I see some who are extremely disciplined in their workout routines but their diet isn’t dialed in because they’ve barely made any significant progress.
I can’t live with myself knowing that I’m cutting
corners.
You should feel guilt. It’s the only thing that drives change.
I’m still not at the levels I want to be at, and that’s ok.
My biggest fear is becoming stagnant and not making
progress.
You don’t need to become a robot. It’s ok to drop off
here and there…it’s more about replacing the majority of poor habits with positive ones.
