Dear: Sir
REF: PROPOSAL FOR THE RESUSCITATION OF DONNYBROOK HOME
INDUSTRY – (Mabvuku) HARARE
This is a proposal from ourselves, a partnership of Project Machine Designers/Engineers and
Community Development experts, to put to use the redundant home industry site at Donny
Brook in Mabvuku, Harare.
The proposal seeks to professionally set up SME production factory facilities, equip them
(where possible) and avail them for use to local party youths and women mainly.
Where possible, these SMEs will be linked to markets, such that this will become an SME
industrial hub that will be creating employment at source as well as downstream, while also
earning participants income to uplift their lives.

PROPOSED PLAN OF ACTION

When industrial site has been secured, the Project Machine Engineers will move into place
and design as well as manufacture custom made machines for production to take place.
EXAMPLES OF MACHINES TO BE MADE
1. Industrial peanut butter making machines
2. Industrial mixers for chemical and paint making machines
3. Grinding mills – For domestic and industrial use
a) Maize could be sourced from GMB, milled and packed at Donny Brook
b) Mining equipment can be manufactured for our artisanal miners
4. Fast food equipment – Fresh chip friers
- Burger makers
