A. COOPERATING TEACHER’S
The cooperating teacher…
1. Maintains consistent standards of classroom behaviour and environment of mutual respect.
2. Checks and re-checks the lesson plans of the practice teacher.
3. Observesthe actual performance of the practice teacher.
4. Holds regular conferences with the practice teacher on his/her strong and weak points.
5. Initiates practicet teacher’s activities within the bounds of officially-approved program.
6. Provides a relaxed atmosphere and encourages a friendly working relationship with the practice teacher.
7. Provides the student teacher with necessary background about individual pupil in the class so that he/she
gains more insights in teaching all members of the class.
8. Guides the practice teacher in the preparation of various school forms
9. Guides the practice teacher in administering examinations, scoring, recording, and computing grades of the
pupils/students.
10. Evaluates objectively the performance of the practice teacher at the end of the program.
B. COOPERATING OFFICIALS
The cooperating officials…
1. Orient the practicet teachers on the operational program of the school, the structure of leadership and
management and pertinent data related to the program.
2. Implement existing rules and regulation of the DepEdwith regards to curricular programs on Practice
Teaching.
3. Observe a class conducted by the practice teachers during demonstration and as the need arises.
4. Monitor and observe practice teachers’ performance.
5. Discuss with the cooperating teachers problem related to the performance of the practice teachers.
C. THE LEARNERS
The learners…
1. Possess the values and attitudes anchored on the Vision, Mission and Core Values of the DepEd.
2. Are physically, socially and academically active.
3. Have the facility to use verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
4. Respond to the strategies and approaches used by the practice teachers.
5. Observe rules and regulations of the school.
D. THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
The school has…
1. Enough classrooms conducive for learning.
2. Library with books, and other learning resources to be used by the students/pupils.
3. Technology like computer, DLP, camera, laptop, television set, etc.
4. Guidance and counseling facilities and services.
5. Sports and recreational facilities
6. Functional medical and dental facilities.
7. Canteen managed by TLE teachers, dietician or nutritionist.
8. Clean comfort rooms.
9. Room/office for holding conferences.
10. Principal’s office with accommodating ambience.
