Microsoft office

 Microsoft office, or simply office, is a family of client software, server software, and
services developed by Microsoft Corporation that is a powerful service that helps you
unleash your best ideas, get things done, and stay connected on the go. Microsoft is a
technology company that was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4, 1975, to
develop and sell basic interpreters for the Altair 8800. The Company develops, licenses,
and supports a range of software products, services and devices. The Company's
segments include Productivity and Business Processes, Intelligent Cloud and More
Personal Computing.

Programs in Microsoft Office are:

 MS Word – is a graphical word processing program that allows you to create text
documents that can be saved electronically, printed on paper or saved as PDF
files.
 MS Excel - is a spreadsheet application program used to create grids of text,
numbers and formulas specifying calculations to record expenditures and income,
plan budgets, and chart data that helps you analyse your data for researches and
reporting.
 MS PowerPoint – is a computer program that helps you create and show slides
to support your presentation. You can do it by combining text, graphics, and
multimedia content.
 MS Access - is an information management tool that helps you store information
for reference, reporting, and analysis. Analyzing large amounts of information, and
manage related data are more efficiently than Microsoft Excel or other
spreadsheet applications.
 MS Publisher - helps you create and publish dynamic content online. Using
publisher, you can easily create business cards, greeting cards, calendars,
newsletters and much, much more.
 MS OneNote – is an app that is designed for research, note-taking, and
information storage. It helps you store text and images in free-form documents
which you can keep private or share with others
 MS Outlook – is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a
part of the Microsoft Office suite. Though primarily an email client, Outlook also
includes such functions as calendaring, task managing, contact managing, note-
taking, journal logging, and web browsing
 Skype for Business - Skype for Business is an easy-to-use interface that allows
users to communicate through text chat, voice calls, video calls and online
meetings. You can use Skype for Business from nearly any Windows PC or
mobile device (Lync on Macs or mobile devices), on campus o
And notwithstanding the later addition of services like:

 OneDrive - is the Microsoft cloud service that connects you to all your files. It helps
you store, protect, and share files.
 SharePoint - is a browser-based collaboration and document management
platform from Microsoft - Wikipedia. The purpose is to assist with bringing business
together including secure document management, collaboration opportunities and
much more.
 FrontPage – is a web design tool made by Microsoft program used to create and
edit HTML documents. It can be used to create large complex Web sites.
