Community Organization and Community Development (COCD)

OBJECTIVES

1. Effectively take an interest within the planning of a gather, work, arrange of activities.

2. Establish a healthy working connection with the community.

3. Evaluate, organize, and mobilize the community in order to promote progress.

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

-Group Orientation

-Prepare a weekly plan of activities.

-Begin paying polite calls to municipal authorities and key barangay leaders, including professional and
indigenous health professionals.

-Conduct casual conversations with senior citizens and barangay residents in locations where they
frequently congregate. Participation in a welcome assembly.

-Conduct a health survey in the community:

*Geographical boundaries, notable landmarks, environmental risks, and other details are noted during
an ocular survey.

*Gather pertinent data by conducting interviews with members of the household.

*Examine the secondary data that already exists.

-Data/information from surveys is gathered and consolidated.

-Give essential care administration in coordination with the RHU and other wellbeing specialist within
the barangay.

- Plan and Create a Spot Map on the group’s chosen Barangay.
