BLASTING PERMIT

SAFETY CLEARANCE IS GRANTED SUBJECTED TO THE SAFETY

PRECAUTIONS

1. Work permit holder shall supervise the blasting work to ensure the compliance of safety
precaution.
2. Explosive material shall be handled up to blasting site in explosive van only.
3. Quantity of explosives taken to the work site, quantity used in the blasting & remaining
quantity after used shall be recorded at the CISF check post.
4. Charging of explosive in hole shall be done in presence Representative of Engineer-In-
Charge, CISF and Contractor’s safety Officer.
5. Blasting should not be done in cloudy weather, strong winds and also after sunset.
6. Blasting zone should be properly barricaded.
7. Persons with Red flags and whistles to be deputed at all entry points.
8. In case muffle blasting all charged holes (charged with explosive) should be covered by the
MS Plates type made covering arrangement.

Precautions, which are required to be taken before blasting process, have been ensured. Permit
holder should ensure the other precaution, which is required to be taken during & after the
blasting Process. Work Permit is authorized and forwarded to CISF.
