With colour film - which, os you know, requires more criiicol exposure - the lighier portions
of o scene usuolly determine the exposure. Therefore,keep on eye on such lighter oreos

ln block-ond-white, however, the shodowy portions which ore to hove some detoil in the

Most importoni: Be criticol of your results. Anolyze your prints ond your colour tronspoi.en-
cies for possible mistokes or errors in judgement. Leorn from your experience: Foilure

white os well os color film with o density or color volue, respectively, thot lies opproxi-
motely in the middle of the stroight line of grodotion. Thus, sufficientlotitude exists in
correct exposure for those ports of o scene which ore lighter or dorker thon the ,,medium
greY".

Reciprocity Efrect

This results in the so-colled reciprociiy efiecl with oll film types: the times meosured
must
be extended for shots to ovoid under-exposure (however, see poge 34).This effect is
difie-
rent with the vorious film fypes. This is the reoson why it is not token into occount
on the
scole of the LUNASIX.
This effect couses olso o shift in the colour bolonce due to the longer times (colour
cost).
This shift con be bolonced with the respectivecorrection filters.
