Creamline reigns supreme over Petro Gazz in a winner-take-all PVL.

Creamline Cool Smashers conquered the PVL (Premier Volleyball League) All-Filipino
game as they thrashed Petro Gazz Angels in an electrifying four-set game 3 final, 20-
25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-15, March 30 at Mall of Asia Arena.

With the 12,175 spectators highly anticipating the clash between the two prominent
squads, the arena was ecstatic as they cheered for their favorites.

Petro Gazz instantly laid a good foundation, taking an early lead with an impressive
synergy of spikes and blocks from their double blockers, Rem Palma and MJ Phillips,
who fired 15 and 16 points, respectively.

The cool smashers were off to a shaky start without Allyza Valdez, a solid attacker to
penetrate Angel's impeccable defense with Palma on the nets. Succumbing to a loss
early in the first set.

However, with Creamline's cerberus strategic attack of Jema Galanza, Michelle

Gumabao, and Tots Carlos, who delivered 21, 20, and 17 points, the empty role was
promptly covered up.

The precise synchronization of Creamline's lightning-quick feints and attacks caught

their opponents off guard. Despite their attempts to regain control, Petro Gazz was
unable to match the opposition team's sheer force and precision, forcing them to
take a defensive stance.

The tension on the court was palpable as the climax draws near, with both teams
unwilling to back down, even more so with Risa Sato coming out of the bench,
pairing up with Gumabao to intercept incoming attacks.

Setter Jia de Guzman executed 30 striking sets, giving their attackers the opportunity
to show off their prowess.

All-arounder Galanza aided Creamline’s attackers unconditionally, earning her third

career Best Outside Hitter award—her first in four years.

When asked about the biggest strength of Creamline that sets them apart from the rest
of the competition, coach Sherwin Nemesis responded:

"Syempre, yung management, chemistry, and yung mga player na dedicated talaga sa
volleyball."

[Of course, it was the management, the chemistry of the team, and the players
themselves who were committed to volleyball.]
