 THE TYPE OF TEXTS
NARRATIVE. Literary text,usually written in prose and telling a story. Its
usual structure si usually :beginning,middle and end.

DESCRIPTIVE. Text that describes anything in detail:

objects,landscapes,people,situations,etc.

EXPOSITIVE. They are those texts that seek yo presente information,ideas and
concepts clearly to the reader,either from a general or specialized perspective.

ARGUMENTATIVE. An argumentative text seeks to convey a point of view on a

particular topic with the intention of persuading the recipient.

INFORMATION. They are those that seek to communicate facts about reality in the
most objective way possible, that is, without including the opinions, emotions or
wishes of the issuer.

CIENTIFIC. This is very important and is also linked to authority. Scientific mode uses
verifiable data and cites sources. It is a way of demonstrating how reliable and truthful
your domain is. Surveys, statistics, reports, among other types of texts.
All scientific data in a text must be verifiable and obviously serious. Remember that
one of the main reasons for the navigator to choose is trust.

LITERARY. It is made up of literary texts in which emphasis is placed on the

characters, the plot and, above all, the figure of the narrator, who is the one who tells
the story.

DIGITAL TEXT. Summarizing, we can say that digital texts are content written and
disseminated in the digital environment with the purpose of informing, communicating,
expressing or promoting.
LEGAL. These texts are the ones that are used to describe processes in the area of
law,either in contracts or in articles of legal documents

HISTORICAL TEXT. These are the texts that refer to great facts or events of history
and/or great figures .Biographies ,national dates ,cultural commemorations,among
other events that modify people’s daily lives in some way
