Introduction
In the following evidence, a summary is made about the types of texts that exist in
a brief and structured way by the team of 7 members and finally a conclusion is
made with what has been learned, it is important to carry out this activity to learn
more about English. A text is a set of statements that transmit an ordered and
coherent message, the length of which may vary. There are different types of texts
according to their structure and function, and they are explained below.
Recount
The recount type of text tells the story again of what happened, that is, the entire
experience or event or a part of it is retold. Events are narrated sequentially or
chronologically as they happened. Recount are important for writers since they are
easy to tell because the event is only talked about again in the past tense (Shafta,
2021).
Descriptive

Descriptive texts are those that seek to detail the features or attributes of an
element such as an object, a person, a situation, an animal, a place, as the case
may be. This is one of the texts that is most used or used. First of all, we have to
work with observation, pay attention to what we are going to describe and finally
make it known to the person or people to whom the message or text is
directed(Adam,1992).
Persuasive
As outlined by Aristotle, are those that aim to convince through rhetoric and the art
of persuasion, employing logical, emotional, and ethical arguments to influence the
audience and lead them to adopt a particular stance or take a specific action.
Argument
They are presented from a specific point of view or perspective on a particular
topic, these texts provide evidence, reasoning and logical arguments so that the
opinion of the writer or author can be supported in this way the same position can
be adopted.
Instructional
In an instructional text we find instructions presented to the reader, for example
how to assemble a toy, perform an experiment, organize a game, follow a recipe or
any process that involves following specific instructions to achieve it. This text may
be more present in the children's environment.
information
An informative text is where you can find information that helps you in your daily
life or about a topic of relevance.
These types of texts are normally found in magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias,
books, among others.
Conclusión
Through this essay we made known 7 types of texts that exist which have different
functions
some of them are informative, descriptive, narrative, among others.
each one has a different function and are used for different types of occasions.
Within the essay you can find what they are for, how they are used and some
examples of how we could put them into practice.
Each one was explained clearly to have a better understanding
