    With relation to regulations 44 and 45 of the International Convention on Load Lines
    1966.

    When considering the stowage of timber when a timber load line is assigned, in addition to
    the requirements as set out in Regulation 44 of the 1966 ICLL, it is recommended that for the
    purpose of applying Regulation 45 the timber deck cargo should extend as far outboard as
    possible due allowance being given for obstructions such as guard rails, stanchions, uprights,
    etc.
