This document provides instructions for turning off various switches and controls on an aircraft during an engine failure, either immediately after takeoff or during flight. It describes moving the mixture control to idle cutoff, turning the fuel and ignition switches off, selecting wing flaps as needed, and finally turning the master switch off by making a downward facing P shape with the left hand. It notes the purpose is to prepare for an emergency landing quickly while minimizing further risks.

MOVEMENT : LEFT RIGHT LEFT LINEAR (DOWNWARD FACING P) STARTING AT THE MIDDLE OF THE P<--- GOING DOWNWARDS THE FLIPPING UP THE FLAPS, THEN MAKING A STRAIGHT PATH TO COVER THE MIXTURE TO MASTER SWITCH.
ENGINE FAILURE IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF PURPOSE : TO PREPARE THE AIRCRAFT FOR LANDING IN THE SHORTEST TIME POSSIBLE, WHILE MINIMIZING THE IMPACT AND CHANCES OF THE EMERGENCY ESCALATING.
1. AIRSPEED - 60 KIAS 2. MIXTURE - IDLE CUT-OFF 3. FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE - OFF 4. IGNITION SWITCH - OFF 5. WING FLAPS - AS REQUIRED 6. MASTER SWITCH - OFF MOVEMENT : START WITH MIXTURE THEN BRING YOUR HAND DOWN IN BETWEEN THE SEATS, GO LEFT TO THE IGNITION SWITCH THEN RIGHT TO THE FLAPS GOING BACK TO MASTER SWITCH AFTERWARDS. (MAKING A FLAG THEN PLANTING IT)
ENGINE FAILURE DURING FLIGHT PURPOSE : TO RESTART THE ENGINE IF ALTITUDE IS PERMITTING
