FAQ
FROM: http://privatepaste.com/download/267076bdbc/operationLH-updateUno
1.) Q. WTF is a rolling dynamic flash mob? A. A phrase I made up, I think, because it mostly described what I was trying to convey. Rolling, as in there will be more than one over a series of hours. Dynamic, as in none of us will know where you're landing until shortly before, and flash mob as in common usage. 2.) Q. Why? A. Our government feels threatened, and rightly so, we're angry and fed up and demand lasting and meaningful reform. When we couple this with the fact that our authorities far more often represent the interests of our corporate oligarchs, it would seem foolish for us not to expect their interference. By reviewing past protests and political actions in the NYC area along with general footage and intelligence from other cities, especially the tactics of the San Francisco Police Department and the bastard off-spring of well-meaning LEO Bart PD. - From this we can begin to gather techniques and methodologies that we can reasonably expect, of which two stand out- kettling and ad-hoc free-speech zones. Kettling is another word for coraling, or encircling or otherwise restricting the movement of protestors via large concentrations of organized authorities. The second can mean any number of things, most principally concerning to us is that it seems likely they will attempt to use sting operation style tactics to rapidly deploy and remove free-speech zones prohibiting protestors from ever successfully grouping up, which is the primary strength of the protest. This operation is designed to attempt to compensate for these tactics by distributing the protestors across multiple unknown locations within a relatively large geographical area, or at least retaining the option to. This minimizes the amount of time the police have to respond and mobilize and increases our odds of successfully countering such tactics. 3.) Q. How? A. We have a small but dedicated team of people already present in NYC, they will be acting as lookouts of sorts trying to identify any such hazards. During this time the first of a series of drop-off locations is chosen and surveilled while other team members are already present at the next fail-over drop-off location. If and when a credible threat is recognized then a fail-over process occurs that will reposition the team members in a similar fashion, and repeat the process as necessary until we find a safe landing or we run out of options and/or time. We have pre-selected a series of locations and per the train cars vendors documentation the average maximum load for each train is approximately 400-600, from this and the previous schedule, we can easily deduce that we at least theoretically could deliver well over 30,000 people in a concentrated but diverse enough area. In addition to the core team, there will be multiple static surveillance sites setup through-out key areas of the financial district and providing a private stream for the team. We will happily release any and all video after the operation has been completed, however we cannot risk the chance of DDoS attack or similar at key moments. We are well-funded, well-organized and well-prepared. You couldn't have expected us, but soon you will begin to understand. 4.) Q. Okay, I'm in, but how will my cellphone work in the subway? A. The team has and continues to monitor the conditions inside of the tunnels to find ideal timings for message distribution, as the outage is no where close to 100% of the time. Furthermore, many of the trains come out into the open air, and some stations even appear to have GSM base stations. In short, we're confident that if time coordinated and coupled with a healthy amount of leeway, we can adequately assure that most people are able to be reached. 5.) Q. Reached? I thought it was a hashtag we were going to look at A. That is true, however as most of your phones will not ring when you check the tag yourself which will self-defeat the purpose of the ringtones in covertly informing you and those around you that they're not alone, we're asking that if you wish to be personally contacted with the exit information that you make yourself known to one of the various oplighthouse twitter accounts or via the tumblr page. From that we will gather your twitter name and when the time comes, we will show you that you're not alone. 6.) Q. Okay, but what if I still miss my stop or otherwise fail to receive the exit information or similar, then what? A. Well, as with every single other thing in your life, the choice is yours. However, we encourage you to select the next possible train, disembark and try again. If there is no further train or similar, then reach out to us- if you seek us, we will find you. 7.) Q. What can I expect upon arrival, what are we going to do when we exit? A. Each timing has been related to another action as announced by another organization affiliated with the occupation. While we have no affiliation with any of those groups and have not conspired in this operation in any way, we do not need to. We've all been programmed with the same belief structure, were taught to read and can read their respective websites. Upon exit you will presented with a small booklet containing information on the various organizations involved, the times and places of their intended actions, any specifics instructions or requests they have, along with documentation on forming yourselves into your own general assemblies and legal and medical information, and naturally it will be liberally sprinkled with Anonymous propaganda. 8.) Q. Why are you doing this? A. Because this has to happen before our nation crosses its own rubicon. The costs in terms of both money, time, lost sleep and so on are are small price to pay for self-determination. 9.) Q. Anything else? A. Be brave, be strong, be peaceful, be resilient and together we will see a brighter day. Engage your adversaries as equals, it is not productive if everyone constantly fights- win hearts and minds.
