Detailed Lesson Plan in Mother tongue 1

I. At the end of the discussion, the pupil are expected to identify and use antonyms with at

B. References: K to 12 Curriculum Guide in Mother Tongue 1
C. Materials: accordion book, pictures showing antonyms, picture of rainbow, clothes clip,
word strips, picture of clothes, balloons, charts, standee boy and girl

one another.

Who will use sad and happy in a sentence? Ressy looks sad while Angela looks happy.

F. Guided Practice

Now class we will play a game: the Great
Antonyms Search. I will give a card to each
one of you with a word written on it. I will
give you two minutes to look and move
around the room to find the person who
has a word that would mean the opposite of
your word. After you find your partner, you
will remain standing beside that person
until the times up. Then you are going to
share your word and the word of your
partner.
