Memoir Project Grading Rubric

This document is a rubric for evaluating a memoir project on both the writing process and final writing product. The writing process section evaluates if a student planned with an outline, wrote a first draft, tried different leads, and revised their work. The writing product section evaluates paragraph structure, proper capitalization, punctuation and spelling, length of at least one page, and neat presentation. Scores range from 1-10 with 10 being the highest.
