Rosita and Felix are walking to class together .They have recently joined azimio university.

They
have been lovers since highschool. Since being accepted to the university they have vowed to
work together in their education and built their relationship alongside their dreams.

Rosita: Hey babe, what should we do for our third year anniversary

Felix: I was also thinking of the same, we should go for a picnic have some snacks and listen to
music

Rosita: But we did that last year can we try something else for a change?

Felix: What do you have in mind?

Rosita: Perhaps dinner at the Acacia hotel

Felix:You know babe have just paid rent money is a little tight right now. I promise to buy you
anything in the world when we make it .Its only a matter of time.

Rosita:But babe…….(frowning) its OK I understand.(They depart and head to their respective

hostels)

Rosita walks to her hostel and finds are roommates Angela and Betty. Angela is sited on her bed
wearing a pair of short shorts.

Angela: You must our new roommate Rosita?

Betty: (giggling) shes pretty.

Rosita: Sorry I did not mean to disturb you

Angela: Its OK welcome to campus beautiful I have a feeling you're gonna shine darling

(Phone vibrates)

Betty:(Screaming happily) Look at what my baby send me….(she shows Angela the bank
transaction on her phone)

Angela: We are going shopping girl (they both jump in joy)

Rosita is snooping around her dorm room which she shares with Angela and betty. She is
surprised how fellow students can have so many fancy clothes and shoes. She has always been
content with everything her parents provide her but she cant help but be a little jealous.

Scene 2
The scene takes place at the club. After a few months of been friends with Angela and Betty
Rosita begins to envy them. They finally convince her to go out with them.
Mheshimiwa:Here comes my abebo (he giggles lustily) Angela and Betty walk in. Angela is
wearing a short dress .Rosita seems to be uncomfortable about being at the club.

Angela : (Hugs Mheshimiwa) I've missed you baby….(Rosita is surprised why Angela called the
old man baby)

Dr Nimrod: Jameni you've been hiding this beautiful ladies from me (he signals Rosita who is a
little uncomfortable) sit next to me baby girl I don’t bite

Mheshimiwa:(signals for a bartender) come serve my beautiful ladies

Bartender: she is a beautiful lady wearing a short dress that barely covers her thighs

Mheshimiwa: some fine whiskey like you my dear(he stares at her thighs lustfully)

Angela: (she looks annoyed) Babe are you seriously checking her out while am here.

Mheshimiwa: Ill make it up to you baby girl

Dr Nimrod:(he tries to disrupt Mheshimiwa and Angela) A bottle of your finest whiskey.arentt
you drinking anything my jaber

Rosita: Am sorry I don’t drink alcohol

Dr Nimrod: loosen up my jaber we are here to spoil you

Rosita:(she blushes)Thank you

They continue talking and Dr nimrod continues to flirt with Rosita. She seems to enjoy it. After
few drinks Dr nimrod offers to take Rosita shopping and even sentss her 20000 ksh as a small
token of appreciation.

The following week Rosita agrees to go for shopping with Dr nimrode. Felix had been noticing
some strange calls and texts on her phone so he decides to follow her. He sees her walk out if a
fancy care accompanied by an elderly man.

Felix: Rosita are you cheating on me after all we've been through.

Rosita:(rudely) excuse me do I know you

Dr Nimrod: Young man are you harassing my woman(he signals his goons)

They escort Felix out of the parking lot as he cries in pain

scene 3
Its been some years since Felix and Rosita have seen each other. Rosita neglected her education
after contracting HIV/AIDS. She is currently expecting Dr Nimrod's child who has since
neglected here after finding out she is pregnant. Rosita is calling Angela and Betty for
advise .Angela does not pick up.

Rosita: Hey Betty (crying) I need your help, i don’t know what to do anymore

Betty: Sorry babes you have to be an adult and handle your mess. Please don’t call me again I
have more important things to do than listen to your crying.(she hangs up)

Rosita is disillusioned about her future .she cannot go home .All her friends have abandoned her
and Dr Nimrod does not pick her calls anymore. She decides to call Felix her ex boyfriend. Felix
is now a successful business man .He is married to a doctor Dr Nduta Otieno.They agree to meet.

Rosita:(crying she tries to hug him but he resists)I'm sorry Felix I did not intent to hurt you.
Please help me they've all left me.

Felix:(he tries to comfort her)Am sorry Rosita you were impatient and wanted a life I could not
offer back then

Rosita: I'm sorry babe please give me another chance, I promise to change for the better.

Felix: Things don't that way. You had your chance with me but you messed it all up. You forgot
about the three years that we had built in love. Do you even have an idea of how much effort it
took to bring back the pieces that you happily broke? Where were you when I had nobody to
turn to? Where were you when I needed you?

Rosita: This time I promise to change. Please I can't lose you(crying)

Felix: Not everything can be fixed. Its a little late for that I am married now.(Dr Nduta Otieno
walks in)

Dr Nduta: My love we are running late for our dinner date.

Felix: Ooh sorry honey. This is my lovely wife Dr Nduta Otieno honey, this is my college friend
Rosita.

Rosita: Hello (she says sadly)

Felix:(He gives her a cheque) I hope this will help you fix your life. And btw let this be the last
time we are meeting. (Felix and Nduta exit holding hands)

Music plays as Rosita cries and the whole crew join her on stage.
