Findings

After thorough interviews and careful analysis of transactions, the study found out that

Madi’s Snack Shack Vending Machine is feasible. This is also supported by approval of the

majority of the students from various colleges. They also meticulously choose the different types

of snacks and drinks that they want to purchase which increase the reliability of this study. In the

first year of operation, the entity forecasted some earnings of ₱1,805,997.57 which is assumed to

increase by 5% per year.

Conclusion

A merchandising business is a very common type of business with numerous

competitors. However, a vending machine will give a fresh and innovative experience to many

customers. With only three (3) canteens in our university, it cannot provide all the necessary

needs of the customers. It is one of the major reasons that this study is found to be feasible

initially starting with two (2) vending machines with an estimated capital of ₱226,578.60. It also

forecasted that these machines will later double its numbers in the passage of time when the

profit is enough to expand the business. With these vending machines, the students of Jose Rizal

Memorial State University can conveniently purchase goods with just a click serving 24 hours a

day.
