benefits to using Linux. The freedom, Linux is free because of the global community at large

and is not in need of a license key like windows. The software management in Linux is great,

these automate the install and uninstall process for software within the system and it has a

live kernel that means the OS can be fully updated while running. The performance of Linux

also delivers, the system can run just about anything. Stability is also a feature of its benefits;

Linux will keep running because the majority of drivers in Linux are open source which means

the community can have the opportunity to fix it. The openness of the OS also allows you to

see everything that is happening in and out of your computer, it is open about the

topics of spying, privacy and it is all about transparency. The customization of Linux is also

creative, with a fun feature called virtual desktop, you can navigate the entire system with

nothing but a command line. Speaking of the command line, that is the heart of Linux. The

terminal is efficient and lets us save time without all the “extraneous movements” and

“unnecessary clicks”. The portability is also flexible because you can run Linux on a live USB.
