GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The helicopter is provided with a grounding connector and an external power
receptacle, the two are on the right side of the rear section of the fuselage,
near the fuel refill cap. The external power receptacle is accessible through
a relative door.
When the helicopter is on the ground, the affected systems and components
must be made safe before proceeding with the maintenance operation. The
following are the requirements to make safe and prepare the helicopter for
maintenance actions:
• Make sure that the helicopter is parked as written in the pertinent M.M.
(Maintenance Manual).
• Connect an appropriate ground cable to the ground receptacle of
helicopter.
• Make sure that the following switches on overhead console are set to
OFF:
• GEN BUS 1 and GEN BUS 2
• BAT, GEN 1 and GEN 2 .
• Make sure that LDG GEAR selector lever on front console is set to
DOWN.
