Annotate your chart so you can quickly identify changes, it
also is important to help you identify how these change from
one regime to the other over time
Identify Sectors Ready For Us!
Quickly we can identify which sectors are in our sweet spot,
and ignore the ones that aren’t

XLU, XLU, XLB, XLP, XLV, XLF, XLRE

XLK, XLY, XLY

Clearly a Solid Bull Market
If nothing else, this exercise shows you that during the
time of this analysis, we were clearly in a broad bull
market where 10/11 Sectors were in Bull Quiet or Bull
Volatile with only 1 sector not
Bonus Chart
Another chart I like to keep available is a line chart with
all 11 S&P 500 Sectors to compare each sector against each
other

Often times you’ll see 1 sector drip while another sector

starts rising as money rotates around the market

It’ll also show you when something big has hit the market,
and it affects everything
We can clearly see that the $XLE sector
indeed dropped quickly this week

Now that we have our sectors identified we’ll find the
individual stocks within the sectors that we’ll be looking
at
