BASELINES

1. REGISTRATION TYPES

The participants of the congress will be able to register as a speaker or an attendant,


these two types are explained below:

• Speaker: Participant who registers along with his research work article, which
will be presented at a conference during the development of the event. You
will have access as an attendee to the rest of speaker oral presentations,
keynote speeches and other activities.
• Attendee: Participant who registers as a congress attendee. You will have
access as an attendee to the rest of speaker oral presentations, keynote
speeches and other activities.

2. ATTENDEE PREREGISTRATION

Preregistration for all attendees will be available from May 2 (00:00, GMT-05:00) to
July 31, 2022 (23:59, GMT-05:00) and will be through CIDiER platform
(www.cidier.net/preregistros). In the preregistration form, the attendee must enter his
information and decide whether he will require a certificate of participation.

3. ATTENDEE AND SPEAKER REGISTRATION


3.1. SPEAKER

By an email of acceptance or rejection, the final decision of the scientific-technical


committee will be communicated. Speakers must register through congress website
(www.cidier.net/registros). Registration will be available from August 1 (00:00, GMT-
05:00) to September 4, 2022 (23:59, GMT-05:00) and the fee is 180 USD.

3.2. ATTENDEE

Attendance is open to the public with prior registration and a certificate of participation
will be issued upon request, which will cost 20 USD. Registration will be available
from August 1 (00:00, GMT-05:00) to September 4, 2022 (23:59, GMT-05:00),
through congress website (www.cidier.net/registros).
4. ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The oral presentations will take place during the days of the event, that is, from
September 19 to 21, 2022, under virtual modality. Presentation schedule of the papers
will be sent via email one week before event starts, both for speakers and attendees.
The speaker will have 15 minutes to present their work, plus 5 minutes to answer
questions from the qualifying jury and the general audience.

Additionally, the PowerPoint template for oral presentations will be available on


conference website.

5. RESEARCH ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS

The period for submitting articles will be from May 2 (00:00, GMT-05:00) to June 19,
2022 (23:59, GMT-05:00). To maintain the order and structure of the articles received,
participants must use the established template, which will be available on the
congress website. The file must be sent in .docx format and named as follows:
name_surname_institution (example: Paul_Torres_ESPOL). The platform to use for
submitting articles will be EasyChair, so access to it will be placed on the conference
website.
