Very good morning to the honorable judges, headmasters, teachers,

timekeepers, and my fellow participants. Today I would like to deliver a

speech entitled Loyalty to the King and Country in Malaysia.

First of all, Malaysia is a multiracial country with beloved people living in it.
so the people over here really take the majesty of our king as a serious
matter. So loyalty to the king and country is an important value in Malaysia,
which is a constitutional monarchy. Malaysia's political system is based on
parliamentary democracy, with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong which is serving
as the ceremonial head of state.

However, Malaysians generally hold a strong loyalty and respect for the
king, chosen from among the nine innate Malay rulers every five years. The
king's role is largely ceremonial, but he symbolizes the unity and stability of
the country and the nation. Malaysians often express their loyalty to the
king through acts of reverence, such as standing when the king's anthem is
played, displaying the national flag, or even when the Rukun Negara is
playing they stand and raising up their right hand to read it with full of love
and patriotism towards the king and the country.

Loyalty to the country, as a whole, is also highly valued. Malaysia is a

diverse nation with a multi-racial population consisting of Malays, Chinese,
Indians, and various other ethnic groups. Malaysians take pride in their
cultural diversity and national identity and most importantly the importance
of unity and harmony.

Like wise, The Malaysian government strongly emphasizes fostering loyalty

and patriotism among its citizens. National holidays, such as Independence
Day and Malaysia Day, are celebrated with great enthusiasm and serve as
opportunities for Malaysians to demonstrate their love for the
country. However, The yang di pertuan Agong birthday is also celebrated by
giving a public holiday and hanging banner all around the country by trying
to show respect and loyalty.

Although, it's important that loyalty to the king and country can be
subjective and may vary among individuals. People may have different
interpretations and expressions of loyalty based on their beliefs,
experiences, and political perspectives.
