“Grave Secrets”

FADE IN:

EXT. ENTRANCE OF CEMETERY - SUNSET

Extreme long shot of three boys going to a cemetery at night.

They want to make a video for youtube of them exploring the
graveyard for abnormal stuff.

FADE OUT:

EXT. CEMETERY - SUNSET

A wide angle of the boys inside the cemetery. TYLER, who is in

young adult years wearing a plain coloured tshirt, hits
record.

TYLER
Ok guys we are recording.

As the guy’s walking the camera tilts up and shows two masks

with a red light shining on it. Tense music starts to play
slowly in the background.

Camera position changes to his phone.

TYLER
Hello guys my name is Tyler and today we are going to search
for any abnormal stuff in this cemetery with my friends Jake
and Blake. 3,2,1 cut.

JAKE, who is also around the same age as Tyler wearing casual
clothing, is a bit unsure about this idea. He is looking
around nervously
CUT TO:

EXT. CEMETERY - SUNSET

JAKE
Tyler, are you sure this is a good idea?

TYLER
Yes, don't worry about it. I was here before.
 BLAKE
Jake stops being so scared nothing will happen.

Tyler and BLAKE, in his young adult years dressed in similar

robe attire as the other guys, however they are all
different, are going further to position the camera because
they want to do a prank on Jake.

Jake is checking everywhere for any abnormal stuff as he is a

bit scared and he didn't notice when Blake and Tyler
disappeared.

Jake notices they are gone and looks around.

JAKE
(Worried)
Guys,... where are you?!
Come on this is not funny!

Jake heard some noises in the bushes. He decided to check it

out.

Tyler jumps out at Jake.

TYLER
BOO!

Jake gets scared and almost punches Tyler.

BLAKE
(Laughing)
Did you actually get scared?

Jake is catching his breath and holding his hand on his chest.

JAKE
It’s not funny Blake.

CUT TO:

INT.CEMETERY - NIGHT
As the three boys explore the cemetery they start to smell
something burning, but they can’t see any smoke.

BLAKE
(Curious)
Do you guys smell that?

TYLER
Yes, it smells like something is burning.
Let's split up and find out where it is coming from. Someone
might be in danger.

BLAKE
Good idea!

The boys decide to separate from each other, each heading in

their own direction.

CUT TO:
INT. CEMETERY - NIGHT

The camera follows Tyler as he wanders around looking for the

source of the smell.

He walks through some grass until he sees some light, through

the bushes, coming from an unknown source, he carefully
approaches the source of the light.

Close up of Tyler’s eyes widening from what he just saw.

Over the shoulder shot of Tyler looking at the group of

CULTISTS.

The cultists, wearing cloaks and masks covering their faces

that are covered in blood, are gathered around outside of a
circle of candles with three of the cultists holding long
candles.

Cultists
(mumbling)

Tyler
(Whispering)
Shit…
Tyler slowly backs away from the group of cultists without
taking his eyes off of them.

Close up of Tyler’s shoe stepping on a twig causing a loud

snap.

All the cultists' heads snap in the direction of Tyler in sync

revealing their masks more.

Tyler's eyes widen and he turns around and begins to run from
them.

CUT TO:
INT. CEMETERY - NIGHT

Jake walks around also looking for the same source of the
smell.

Music starts to slowly build up as Jake is walking.

Jake hears bushes rustling behind him. The music shoots up as

he turns around.

Music dies. POV Jake looks around and sees nothing.

Medium shot of Jake and a cultist is behind him over the

shoulder. The music shoots up.

CUT TO:

INT. CEMETERY - NIGHT

Blake is still searching for the smell of the smoke. He

approaches a strange tree that has a lit candle with a paper
that is half burned that says no escape.

BLAKE
(gasps)
What the…?
Blake grabs the candle. He blouses the candle and as soon as
the candle is out the cultists appear behind him.
 CUT TO:
The title appears in blood on a black screen.
