target word on a flashcard 2. Let’s read and clap! (3x) (Clap per syllable) 3. Read the sentence and let the student follow. Give corrections when necessary. 4. Show 3 pictures of the target word, one at a time. 5. Ask Concept Checking Questions and help the student say the answer in a sentence. 3. Encourage the student to complete the sentence, give the student the try to answer on his/her own.
