1. Ask “Look! What can you see?”

2. Show the title (written on a title card)
“We will talk about UNCLE PAUL’S JOB”
3. Make the student say the title.
“Say UNCLE PAUL’S JOB.”

1. Ask a lead in question then show

target word on a flashcard
2. Let’s read and clap! (3x)
(Clap per syllable)
3. Read the sentence and let the
student follow. Give corrections when
necessary.
4. Show 3 pictures of the target
word, one at a time.
5. Ask Concept Checking Questions and
help the student say the answer in a
sentence.
3. Encourage the student to complete the
sentence, give the student the try to answer
on his/her own.
