Lessons for Beginning Students
These lessons are dedicated to the student
who has recently discovered the flute and

instrument. Whether the student has
started to experiment with the flute on

their own already or has never touched a

flute before, these lessons are perfect for
the aspiring flutist. Here the student will
be introduced to the basics such as posture
and embouchure. In addition to the basics
of flute playing, the student will receive
instruction in the basic building blocks of
music theory.

Lessons for Intermediate

Students

These lessons are tailored to those

Private Beginning
students who have had a couple years of
flute already. With these lessons the to Advanced Flute
student will gradually be shifted from the
basic fundamentals of flute and start to Lessons
hone their musical skills. Students will
work to develop technique that will aid in
their journey to becoming a successful
musician.
LOCATION
Lessons are located at the
household of Rachael Beles. One
of the rooms has been designed
to be the perfect environment for
students with an extensive music
library and an upright piano for
accompanists.

ABOUT RACHAEL
A current student at the Wheaton
College Conservatory of Music,
Rachael is in pursuit of a degree
in both Performance and
Pedagogy with a concentration
on flute. She has experience
teaching students in the age
range from the 4th grade to early
high school.
