ANALYZE
1. How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the students
going to school? What are your conclusions?

A clean, well-maintained campus fosters a productive environment that encourages

involvement and concentration. A well-planned classroom layout, a welcoming classroom
atmosphere, the integration of technology, the accessibility of resources, and consideration for
inclusion and safety must work together to create the best possible learning environment for
students.

2. How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does
this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

Given their vital emotional and psychological development, children and teenagers
require a supportive learning environment in order to learn effectively and productively.
Teachers have a profound impact on students' social, personal, and cultural development
throughout their lives. In professional teacher-student interactions, educators should be
modest, aware of their own changes on a physical, emotional, and psychological level, offer
support, model acceptable behavior, share their experiences, and point students in the correct
way. The student needs to take in the knowledge and apply it to real-world situations.

REFLECT

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? and Why not?

Yes, I would like to become a teacher in the environment of the school I just observed
since it is very welcoming and conveniently accessible, plus it is surrounded by a large number
of trees. The resources and infrastructure of the institution are excellent. My interest in teaching
may be increased by the accommodating nature of teachers and other administrators.

2. What kind of school campus is conductive to learning?

A conducive learning school campus is composed of social, educational, and physical

features that put students' participation and well-being first, which leads to a productive and
fulfilling learning environment.
EASTERN VISAYAS STATE UNIVERSITY
Tacloban City
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

3. What kind of classroom is conductive to learning?

A classroom that is conducive to learning is a classroom environment that emphasizes

students' holistic development, taking into account both their intellectual and emotional needs
in a supportive and engaging setting that is favorable to learning.

4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?

In the future, if given the chance to become an educator, and to accomplish my answer
in number 3. Holistic development for students requires supportive approach and a positive
learning environment. I would probably use strategies that includes building positive
relationships, promotes emotional intelligence, incorporate social-emotional learning
principles and adjust my teaching methods.

5. Write your additional learnings and insights here.

This course enables me to acquire the essential knowledge needed for aspiring
educators. Learning how to observe classroom dynamics will enhance my understanding of
creating a positive and effective school environment, as well as how to establish a conducive
learning space for students.

SHOW Your Learning Artifacts

My Personal Illustration of an Effective School Environment

My conception of an effective learning environment includes a lively campus with properly

maintained structures, visually appealing displays, and adjustable classrooms. The environment is
one of curiosity and knowledge seeking, with teachers acting as mentors and using a range of
instructional strategies to meet the requirements of students with different learning styles. The
school supports extracurricular activities to develop students' abilities and promote collaboration,
including clubs, athletics, and art programs. Mental health is given priority, and regular contact
between educators, students, and parents creates a network of support. With clearly defined
emergency exits and security measures, safety is of the first importance. Beyond just imparting
knowledge, the educational setting molds the minds of learners and attitudes and instills in them a
feeling of purpose and dignity.
