 Upon entering the classroom, the displays in the wall are


accomplishment board where students name are there and how many
merits they have. On the wall also displays another board for values of
the grade level occupying the classroom. Lastly bulletin boards
properly design for the month of the Rosary.

There are numbers of furniture present in the classroom and are


properly arrange. The teachers table is located at the back of the
classroom near the exit door.
The teachers’ table is properly arranged, at the side of the
teachers table a unit of laptop and printer where she can work easily.
There are numbers of armed chairs inside the classroom. It was
arranged by 6 rows and 5 columns. Each learner is arranged by their last
name.
The learning materials I saw in this classroom are usually visual
aids and books are properly arranged in their locker.
As I observe the students. They are very participative and you
can feel the eagerness to learn. The teacher uses interactive teaching
process.
Lastly, the room is well lighted were all parts of the room is
visible, it is also well ventilated were in fact there are units of air
conditioner installed and a fans also are present.

ANALYZE:

How do the school campus and the classroom in the particular impact the learning of the
students going to school? What are your conclusions?

 In this kind of campus and classrooms in Mater Carmeli School in Novaliches, it


really has a big impact on the learning of the students. I can say that the school is
conducive for the learning of the students in elementary and secondary. Because the

school campus has pleasing surrounding and it is very safe for the students, as well
as the classrooms are very conducive for learning. So this kind of school will
contribute a lot to the learning of the students.

How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development/ How does this
relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

 The campus and the classroom should relate a lot in my knowledge on child and
adolescent development, like the construction of the campus and structuring a
classrooms should consider the level of ability of a child, displays should be
appropriate with their level.

This is also related to my knowledge how to facilitate learning with my students,


were in learning environment is one of the important thing to consider in facilitating
the learning of the students, because the environment also contribute to the leaning
of the students.

REFLECT:

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?
 Yes, the school is very pleasant, I feel very comfortable during the
observation because of the environment which is very clean. The school has
the facilities that are very important. As a future educator I can feel that the
school is a child-friendly one.

2. What kind of school campus is conducive learning?


 A school campus which is conducive for learning is, the school environment
should be clean. It should be a child-friendly school. It should have the
important school facilities such as library, science laboratory, computer
laboratory and other important facilities that can help on the learning of the
students. And also the principal, teachers and other staff should be child-
friendly so that the students will not be threatened with their presence.

3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?


 A classroom that is consider to be conducive for learning is well ventilated
and well lighted and it should be in proper sanitation. The students should
not feel threatened, it should be a student-friendly classroom.

4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
 As a future educator, I can accomplish those by doing it into a responsible
teacher. I have threat my students’ proper affection, respect, love and care so
they will put in their mind that learning and studying is very important.

 During my visit I observed that they really maintain the cleanliness of the
school. Students are well mannered and have big respect with the teachers,
faculty members specially the sisters of Carmelite Missionary. During
discussion students are very participative and you can feel their desire of
learning more.
