A quality plan is a written description of the precise quality procedures to be followed throughout a project
to guarantee that the client's goals are met. It is made by decomposing the project's goals into a work
breakdown structure and cataloging specific quality actions. A good quality plan will find customers, create a
process that satisfies their demands, early supplier involvement, be adaptable to changes in customer
expectations, and show that quality objectives are being carried out.

A quality policy is a declaration by the top management of an organization declaring its commitment to
quality and the duties of its participants in keeping it. It should outline the organization's quality goals and
acceptable standards and offer detailed instructions for crucial issues. Top management oversees carrying
out the policy. They must set an example and encourage uniformity inside the company. A high-quality
approach must also be adaptable to essential alterations and updates.

Overall, a quality policy is a statement by top management defining the organization's commitment to quality
and its responsibility for keeping it. In contrast, a quality plan defines the precise quality actions conducted
during a project to satisfy customer requirements. While the quality policy applies throughout the
organization, the quality strategy is project specific. While the procedure sets up the general direction for
quality management inside the firm, the plan breaks down project objectives into actions.
