2023 journey to Praha

My bestie Masha and I recently went to Praha. I’m leaving in the Czech Republic for one
year, but I come to the capital very rarely. My friend lives in Odesa and has long wanted to visit
this city, so she surprised me and came for three days.
It wasn’t very hard for me to arrive. So I caught a train and after one hour I was waiting for
Masha at the airport. We arrived at the hotel, which we booked in advance, changed outfits, and
went for a walk around the city. It was raining, so we decided to postpone the sightseeing until
the next day. We went shopping, had dinner, and returned to the hotel to watch the series.
The next day we went to the Prague Zoo. It was just huge and in five hours we didn’t have
time to get around everything. I saw animals that I didn’t even know existed and we were allowed
to go into the kangaroo enclosure. After that, we went to have lunch in a restaurant with Czech
cuisine. I think the food is a bit oily but very tasty. After lunch, we finally went to see the sights.
We visited the Charles Bridge, the Jewish Quarter, the Dancing House, the John Lenin Wall,
Kafka's Moving Head, and much more. In the evening we went to a Mexican cafe and met the
British. I was ashamed of my accent but overall had a lot of fun.
On the last day, we continued sightseeing. We climbed to the highest place in Prague - the
Petryshinsky Tower, after which we went to the Wallsten Gardens and once again walked around
the city center. In the evening I saw Masha on the plane and went home.
The journey was amazing, one of the best in my life, although I have already been to Prague
several times. A huge variety of food of different cuisines, people are very friendly, and everyone
will find museums, sights, or architecture that they like. We had a wonderful time.
