My trip to New York

In 2017 I went to New York for my sister's birthday.

On that trip I went to so many places like:
● The statue of liberty
● Empire State Building
● Broadway
● Times Square
● Central Park

I spent the night in an apartment on Brooklyn street, it was a tiny apartment me and
my sister slept in the same room, my brother slept on the couch, and my parents on
another room. The apartment had a kitchen, 2 rooms, and a tiny living room.

In that trip I had so much fun, I saw the 9/11 memorial museum, that is a museum in
which they commemorate, show pictures and stories from people that die in the
terror attacks from September 11, there were so many pictures and messages from
the victim's family.

I also went to Broadway to see a play called “Wicked” the actors and actresses were
so good at acting I had so much fun watching them. Also that play includes music so
I also sang.

I also saw the Met museum it is an amazing place with a lot of ancient art and
sculptures, as well as the New York Public Library in
which there were a lot of interesting books and
magazines.

Central Park was a bit big, but also beautiful, if

overwhelming, that’s why I got lost, and I couldn't find my
family, but minutes later I found them.
I loved the Bryant Park, and the Madison Square Park too.

MET museum
When my family and I were hungry, we went to a hotdog place and eat some
hotdogs, they weren't so good, but it was food and we were hungry.

I went to the Lego store and I bought not so many things because they were too
expensive, in that place there were big Lego structures all over the store.

To go to the Statue of Liberty we needed to cross the water with a little boat in which
my family and I had so much fun. Then after we crossed we saw the big and
beautiful statue, we took so many pictures.

Later we went to the Empire State building, to go up that high,

we needed to take the elevator and go up 20 floors, when we
were all the way up we saw all the amazing view of New York.
I saw all the buildings, cars, stores, taxis, people, etc.

I went to the 5th avenue in which there were so many

luxurious and expensive stores like Apple store, Zara, Fendi, Nine West, Gucci,
Prada, Sephora, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, GAP, Emilio Pucci, and more stores.

We planned all of the days, by where are we going to go, the time, how long, etc.
Just like this one.

When we went to Times Square, we saw a lot of street shows were people were
dancing, singing, doing really dangerous tricks, dressed up, painting, and more.

We went to so many stores and also souvenir stores.

That same day a woman that was painting other people faces, she said to my sister
and I to go, so we went with her and she said that if we wanted her to paint our
faces, and we say yes, so she started painting my sisters face first, she was painting
her for about an hour, she did a great job painting my sister.
Then it was my turn, I sat on the chair and she told me to pose, and then she started
painting me, when she finished, I saw my painting and it wasn’t good as my sister’s,
she painted me with a big forehead and I didn’t look good.

The next day they said that the weather is going to be cold, rainy and maybe snowy,
but it was somehow rainy but no snow, we were so happy because if it snows all the
day will be ruined, and we would not be able to walk through all the snow.

The last day we went to the Rockefeller Center in which there were so many stores,
later we went to Chinatown and in there we ate at a Chinese restaurant, the food
was really good.
Then we went to little Italy in there we ate gelato that is ice cream but in Italian, I ate
a vanilla one, my sister chocolate, my brother lemon, and my parents ate strawberry.

At night we went to Brooklyn’s Bridge, we

rode bikes and we also walk the bridge was
really long so we took a long time to pass it
all, but we had so much fun.

I really loved that trip; I hope I could go again to New York.
