In this article, Ocampo explores the question of whether or not Jose Rizal, the national
hero of the Philippines, really wrote a poem for children when he was a child himself. The poem,
entitled "Sa Aking Mga Kabata" ("To My Fellow Children"), is often attributed to Rizal, but
there is some debate over whether or not he actually authored it. Ocampo notes that while there
is no definitive evidence that Rizal wrote the poem, it does contain many of the themes and ideas
For example, the poem encourages children to love their native language, which was an
issue that Rizal was passionate about. Additionally, the poem touches on the idea of national
identity, which was another important theme in Rizal's work. Overall, while it is impossible to
say for sure whether or not Rizal wrote "Sa Aking Mga Kabata," it is clear that the poem has
become an important part of his legacy. As Ocampo notes, the poem has been taught in Filipino
schools for generations, and has helped to love our own language.
My thoughts about the whole article made me think that we must review or find some
evidences before we even publish works. We must see evidences and proofs to point out that this
work is done by this person. We must also validate it at points where it is really proven before
we believe because that where fake news will grow and pass to the next generation. So at early
point, we must correct and validate as soon as possible so that we could make a statement that
