Rizal believes that our native tongue is a divine gift and that we should cherish it.

It was bestowed upon us, and we are grateful. It is a blessing that we were given this
nationality, just like everyone else. We know that Rizal was inspired to write this poem
during the Spanish Empire's hegemonic period. as we were a part of their colony. He
tells us to cherish our language since it is a step toward liberty. It has a strong desire to
go wherever, like a bird with the freedom to soar over the sky, as Rizal likened it to
wishes to go and carry out its desires

Filipino nationalist José Rizal wrote the poem To the Flowers of Heidelberg when
he was in Heidelberg, Germany, finishing his ophthalmology studies. It is a poem on
loneliness, yearning, and melancholy. When the snow from the previous winter had
melted, and a new, lovely spring had begun, he penned this poem in April 1886. Rizal
was mesmerized by Heidelberg's floral outburst. Those who currently live and work
abroad find our minds and hearts traveling back to the familiar and calming smells and
scenes of home during the few quiet moments made possible by brief interruptions in
the constant hectic rush of activity.
Originally written in Spanish, this Rizal piece discusses how every Filipino is
eager to toil hard for his nation. In answer to a request from Rizal's fellow laborers in
Lipa, Batangas, who required a hymn to sing during the event honoring Lipa's
declaration as a city in January 1888, Hymn to Labor was written. Therefore, it is correct
to say that this song is meant to honor the Lipa people's diligence and work ethic.

Motherland. The poem discusses Rizal's contributions to education. He claims that
education strengthens a nation and enables it to excel above the rest, whether in
concerns of honor or good reputation. Additionally, it discusses how a person is
continually on a road of learning from the moment they are born.
